Mission / Team
We are looking to strengthen our teams by recruiting a Human Factors engineer. You will be integrated in a team of 8 Human factors practitioners, based in France, dedicated to the design and certification of rotorcraft’s cockpits.
Your main role will be to analyze future evolutions of cockpits and ensure that Human factors aspects are considered in the design. You will be supervised and will have a strong link with the French team, with the goal of exporting process and methodologies for our customers in Germany.
Your tasks:
Understand and describe the concept of operations of helicopter’s cockpits for the operational crew.
Ensure integration of Human Factors aspects in every phase of development projects.
Works as part of a multidisciplinary team (engineers, UX, quality, safety, pilots...).
Define and optimize cockpit HMIs considering Human Factors and cockpit philosophy.
Organize operational evaluation sessions with pilots to verify system integration and suitability for operations.
Participate in new helicopters’ qualification by demonstrating compliance with aviation authorities’ requirements.
Pré-requis du poste
Education / Experience
Master’s degree in Human Factors Engineering/Ergonomics or related field.
At least 3 years of experience with 1-3 years working in an industrial environment.
Skills
You must have strong consulting and presentation skills, with the capacity to comprehend complex systems quickly. Fluency in written and spoken English. French and/or German languages skills could be a plus.
Recognized for your human qualities and your ability to work as part of a team, you will be able to make proposals and to be autonomous in your activities.
